Legal Business Developer (Legal AI Scaleup)

As a Legal Engineer / Legal Business Developer, you will work at the intersection of law, AI product development, and customer success. You will directly contribute your legal expertise to the AI associate, work closely with our development team, support law firms in implementation, and translate what you learn from direct contact with law firms into concrete measures that create adoption, satisfaction, and long-term value. In short: you will help build Silvernova as a leading law firm AI from a legal and technical perspective.

About us: Silvernova is developing the first digital employee for law firms – the leading solution for complex mandates. VC-financed and with investors from top law firms on board. Over 450 law firms use the AI associate daily – making us one of the fastest-growing LegalTech scaleups in Germany: you will help build this from the very beginning.

Your Tasks

• Product & Legal AI Development – You will further develop Silvernova from a legal and technical perspective together with our development team: conception, validation, and iteration of agentic Legal AI workflows, building knowledge models, and quality assurance of technical results.

• Customer Enablement – You will support our law firms with structured onboarding, training, and best practices so they can become productive quickly and see measurable added value.

• Content Expertise – You will create product videos, best practices, and enablement content for existing and new legal areas and design webinars, events, and campaigns that make the added value of Legal AI tangible.

• Market & Insights – You will identify where law firms are struggling and bring these insights back to the product and our go-to-market strategy.

What you bring

• Legal Background – Completed law degree, ideally the 2nd state examination and bar admission. Practical experience in law firms or legal professions is a plus, as is a Master's / LL.M. in Legal Informatics or LegalTech. The area of law is secondary – litigation experience is helpful.

• Self-Responsibility – You want more than the traditional law firm path, you take ownership of topics and drive them forward independently.

• Communication Skills – You explain complex content clearly, present yourself confidently to law firms, and enjoy working with development, product, sales, and marketing. Precise language and an eye for detail characterize you.

• Curiosity about Legal AI & Product Development – You think AI-native, want to actively shape how such products are created, and can clearly formulate legal workflows, requirements, and quality standards, and translate them into practical solutions.

• Languages – German at C2 level, English at least C1.
