Job description

Hello! Glad you stopped by đź‘‹

Are you actively looking for a new challenge? Or are you just browsing the market? Well… then you might be exactly right here!

We are looking for a Head of Field Sales for our Hospitality team on-site in Munich. In this role, you will take on a key function: You will build, structure, and lead a completely new team of approximately 8 to 10 Outbound Field Account Executives.

Together, you will help restaurateurs simplify and scale their operations through state-of-the-art restaurant technology (SaaS POS). We are looking for a sales-strong leader with a proven track record in B2B sales management and new customer acquisition.

Your Responsibilities

  • Team Building & Leadership: You will recruit, lead, and coach a new field-based team to foster continuous skill development and adherence to best practices.

  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process – from prospecting to closing – while ensuring the team's daily activities and goal achievement.

  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Competent use of Salesforce to ensure data integrity and for accurate weekly revenue forecasts to management.

  • Hands-on Coaching: Regular accompaniment of your team in the field through joint customer visits, live on-site demos, and tailored outreach strategies.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Close cooperation with the Product, Implementation, and Account Management departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Strategic Growth: Development and implementation of strategic plans for the sales territory as well as identification of bottlenecks to optimize team efficiency.

  • Revenue Responsibility: Achieving and exceeding set new business and revenue targets for your team and the region.

What else is involved...

As part of the extended team, you will significantly contribute to our overall company goals. This also means that you will lend a hand where needed – even if it doesn't strictly fall within your area of responsibility (true team spirit!).

What you bring

  • Must-Have (Leadership Experience): Sound, demonstrable experience in people management – especially in building, leading, and coaching field-based sales teams.

  • Must-Have (Field Sales): In-depth experience in Field Sales and outbound sales, as well as a genuine passion for being directly on-site with the customer together with your team.

  • Work Location: You live in the Munich area or are willing to work completely on-site in Munich.

  • Sales Expertise: The ability to guide a sales team through the entire sales cycle – from cold calling to successful closing.

  • Tech Skills: Proficient use of Salesforce for detailed reporting and precise forecasting.

  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in SaaS, Hospitality, Gastronomy, or Hotel industries is a big plus.

  • Hunter Mentality: Experience and success in outbound sales, direct on-site outreach ("walk-ins"), and in generating genuine interest in a platform.

What we offer you:

Experience the “Lightspeed Experience”…

  • Lightspeed Equity Scheme: We are all co-owners (stock option program).

  • Salary Package: Attractive model of fixed salary and commission + company car

  • Health & Wellness Credit: Up to EUR 400 per year for the gym, yoga, a new bike, or whatever benefits your health.

  • Mental Health: Support via the Modern Health app – whether it's meditation, coaching, or counseling, every employee has access.
