About HEIMATBOOST

HEIMATBOOST is an Angel Investment Community from the Münsterland – a network of around 20 entrepreneurs, experienced business angels, and startup experts who collectively pool capital, know-how, and connections to bring promising startups to the next level.

We invest in the DACH region with tickets between approximately €50,000 and €500,000, focusing particularly on startups that contribute to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and address societal and ecological challenges.

In addition to capital, we offer our portfolio companies access to a strong network and entrepreneurial expertise to accelerate growth and impact.

Your role with us

You will work closely together with the management team and gain insights into scouting, deal flow management, investment decisions, and managing a pre-seed investment portfolio.

You will be part of a team and work closely with experienced investors. You will receive a deep insight into the practice of startup evaluation, deal flow management, and due diligence processes.

Tasks

• SUPPORTING THE STRUCTURING, DOCUMENTATION, AND OPERATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION OF PROCESSES WITHIN THE ANGEL COMMUNITY
• Aktive Startup Scouting und strukturierte Bewertung von Early-Stage-Startups
• Responsibility for deal flow tracking and further development of our CRM system
• Analysis of business models, markets, competitive environments, and go-to-market strategies
• Preliminary preparation, accompaniment, and follow-up of pitch sessions, investment decisions, and own events
• Creation of investment briefings, decision templates, and presentations
• Participation in selected startup, network, and investor events

Qualification

• Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and business models
• Outstanding analytical skills and structured thinking
• Very good German and English language skills
• Independent, reliable work style, and high quality standards
• Communication strength, team ability, and reliability
• Willingness to occasional on-site meetings at pitch events in the Münsterland and startup events
• Enrolled student (work student status) at a university or college

Nice to have (not required):

• Startup, VC, or entrepreneurship experience
• Experience with data-driven workflows and affinity for automations
