Most student assistant jobs in marketing mean: pushing slides, filling reports. With us, you'll contact editorial offices and blogs, place our campaigns there, and then see what the coverage has done for us on Google.

ECHO POSTER is a specialized agency for out-of-home advertising based in Berlin. Since 2008, we've been putting posters, digital screens, guerrilla actions, and special constructions on the streets of Germany, the UK, and Italy. Our campaigns aren't in pitch decks, they're hanging in the city. That's your raw material, because the media likes to write about it.

Tasks

• You'll build and maintain our press and media lists: trade publications, regional press, blogs, associations, etc.
• You'll turn our campaigns into PR showcases. You'll track what your placements achieve: mentions, backlinks, rankings
• You'll pitch guest articles and case studies
• You'll check every landing page for quality before we make an inquiry
• You'll monitor the impact of our placements

Qualifications

• You are enrolled - for example, in communications, marketing, media, or journalism. The field is less important to us than your writing skills
• You write excellent German and dare to contact strangers. Via email, on LinkedIn, or if necessary, by phone
• You work with list discipline. An outreach list of 80 contacts and a clean status doesn't scare you, it brings you joy
• Basic SEO knowledge is a plus, not a must. You should know what a backlink is, we'll teach you the rest
• Your English is good enough to contact a UK editorial office occasionally
