Kijimea – From research. For your life. Since our founding in 2011, we have pursued a clear vision: We want to specifically utilize the potential of the microbiota (bacteria) in our gut for a longer and healthier life – for all people.

A first major milestone on this path was achieved in 2013 with the discovery and clinical research of the unique bacterial strain B. bifidum MIMBb75 (Kijimea Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Since then, we have been able to noticeably improve the lives of millions of irritable bowel syndrome patients worldwide. Today, B. bifidum MIMBb75 is one of the most researched bacterial strains worldwide. Its efficacy and unique mechanism of action have been proven and published in numerous clinical studies – including in renowned specialist journals such as The Lancet.

We work with leading research institutions such as Charité Berlin to research the connections between the microbiota (bacteria in our gut) and allergies, skin diseases, and mental disorders. In short: we are investigating how the bacteria in our gut influence a longer and healthier life.

Today, we are among the fastest-growing healthcare companies worldwide. We reach our customers through various channels: direct communication with doctors and pharmacists, as well as print, TV, and digital marketing. Your Mission With Us

Do you want to help shape the international expansion of one of Europe's fastest-growing healthcare brands from day 1? Then you are in the right place with us! For Kijimea, we are looking for a Venture Manager – Internationalization (m/f/d) with immediate effect, who will drive the international expansion of one of Europe's fastest-growing healthcare brands with us.

Together with our dynamic team, you will develop the go-to-market strategy, lead the launch of new markets, and build a scalable internationalization playbook. Our goal is clear: Kijimea is to become the world's largest DTC probiotic brand. You will take responsibility from the start and have a direct impact on how a strong brand becomes a global healthcare platform.

Your Tasks

• You are part of a highly dynamic team and support the achievement of our vision to become the No. 1 probiotic brand worldwide by 2030.

• You develop and drive the internationalization agenda of SYNformulas.

• You lead the launch of three European markets or one global market – from go-to-market strategy to implementation.

• You design and shape our internationalization roadmap and launch playbook.

• You maintain contact with important stakeholders and manage external partners, service providers, and customers.

• You create presentations for the top management of SYNformulas and discuss your results with the leadership team.

Your Profile

• You see yourself as a doer and are eager to help shape the next innovations in the pharmaceutical sector in an environment with rapid decision-making opportunities. Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience is not a prerequisite.

• You hold a completed university degree in economics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or natural sciences.

• You have at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a top-tier consulting firm or a similarly dynamic environment.

• You possess very good analytical skills, combined with strong conceptual and entrepreneurial thinking.

• You have strong drive, the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility, and can communicate complex issues concisely.

• You are a true team player (m/f/d) and possess a high degree of initiative and goal orientation.

• You have fluent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level).
