Junior Grain Trader - Bootcamp

Then come join GSL! We're a growing company that buys, sells, and coordinates grain and cereal transportation across North America. We're looking for a motivated person to work with our trader in Trois-Rivières for a 6-month stage, with the possibility of evolving into a Junior Trader position.

Your daily routine during the internship

• Work hand-in-hand with the trader and dive into the heart of grain trading.
• Aid in managing claims and resolving commercial situations with the team.
• Participate in tracking company certifications and preparing compliance reports.
• Support accounting management for purchases/sales: orders, supplier and client follow-ups, etc.
• Back up logistical coordination to ensure each transport runs smoothly.
• Make active prospecting: cold calls, lead generation, developing a solid pipeline.
• Maintain our data systems and produce business analyses that are useful and concrete.

What we're looking for in you

• A genuine commercial fiber: you love selling, convincing, developing, and retaining.
• Ease on the phone: you know how to prospect, recontact, transform a contact into a partner.
• 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience, with an objective/results-oriented spirit.
• A sense of detail and a desire to streamline processes.
• Multilingualism is a plus.
