About the Position
At Veeam, our Systems Engineers (m/f/d) work closely with Sales to help promote our product offering to our Partners, Resellers, and End Users. Grow with Veeam and gain valuable experience in one of today's hottest IT areas. These positions require significant travel within the region for which you are responsible.
These are your responsibilities:
- Conducting presentations and demonstrations at live and virtual customer meetings
- Implementing and managing POCs through to technical completion
- Supporting lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.
- Collaborating with the customer/partner to define and implement business goals into technical requirements
- Providing independent consulting to customers to offer technical expertise on data protection
- Working closely with the sales department to acquire new partners and customers
- Working closely with product management to receive customer feedback
- Supporting customers prior to sale in evaluating Veeam software
This is what you bring:
- Proven experience in solution selling and/or technical pre-sales is preferred
- Industry experience with data protection technologies
- Industry experience in storage, network and/or cloud technologies is highly desirable
- Experience working with monitoring tools and frameworks
- Proven experience with virtualization technologies
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direction; energetic, motivated personality capable of quickly learning new technologies
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities
- A VMCE certification would be an advantage - employees have the opportunity to obtain VMCE and also VMCA once they have taken up the position.
- Willingness to travel
Bonus Skills:
- Delivering software solutions in complex environments
- In-depth understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; you must be able to present to groups in English and German
- Industry-relevant professional certifications are desirable
