Senior Specialist in Strategic Fuel Procurement | Advanced English
A leading global logistics, transportation, and distribution company seeks a Strategic Sourcing professional to manage the fuel category for its operations in the United States.
The position offers international exposure, interaction with US stakeholders, and direct participation in strategies impacting costs and operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies for diesel, gasoline, Bulk Fuel, Fleet Fuel, and Fuel Cards.
- Manage fuel spend and volumes in the United States.
- Lead RFI, RFP, RFQ, tenders, and negotiations.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, SLAs, and commercial terms.
- Generate savings and optimize cost per gallon and TCO.
- Analyze prices, trends, and energy market indices.
- Manage suppliers, risks, and supply continuity plans.
- Present strategies and results to international stakeholders.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- Direct experience in strategic fuel procurement.
- Experience managing the category for the United States or North America.
- Proficiency in Strategic Sourcing, TCO, negotiation, and contracts.
- Quantifiable results in savings, costs, or supply continuity.
- Advanced English C1–C2.
- Advanced Excel and experience with Power BI.
- Desirable knowledge of OPIS, NYMEX, rack pricing, SAP, or Ariba.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary up to MXN $59,000 gross per month.
- Indefinite term contract.
