About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Associate or Special Counsel with proven expertise in trusts and estate litigation to join a leading full-service law firm with a strong reputation for excellence and a collegial, down-to-earth culture.

You’ll be part of a team that handles some of New Zealand’s most interesting and challenging trust, estate, and relationship property disputes, acting for high-net-worth individuals, trustees, and professional advisers.

What we’re looking for

• An experienced qualified lawyer with at least 8 years’ PQE in litigation, with a focus on trusts, estates, or relationship property who holds or is intitled to hold a current NZ legal practicing certificate
• Excellent written advocacy and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship abilities, with sound professional judgment
• A strategic, solutions-oriented approach to complex disputes
• Confidence managing files and mentoring junior team members
• A collegial mindset and commitment to high professional standards
