Job description

A Swissbit more you.

Swissbit is the leading European manufacturer of memory and security solutions for industrial and embedded applications. We make the digital world safer by reliably storing and protecting data. With our Memory Solutions division, we address demanding industrial and embedded markets worldwide. Quality, reliability, and long-term customer partnerships are at the heart of our actions.
As part of the further development of our market-oriented sales organization in the Memory Solutions division, we are creating a new, strategically central role in the Revenue Operations area.

Your Mission

As the Sales Operations Manager - Memory Solutions (MEM), you will ensure that our future sales model functions effectively, transparently, and scalably. You will translate the defined strategic target picture into a clear operational sales approach. This includes processes, roles, meetings, KPIs, interfaces, forecasting logic, deal desk mechanics, and transparent control instruments.
The focus of your role is professional sales mechanics in day-to-day business: clear rules, reliable data, clean processes, better forecasts, higher deal discipline, and a common understanding of how Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain work together.
Your goal is to enable the Sales organization of Memory Solutions to work more focused, committed, data-driven, and scalable. You will report directly to the General Manager of the Business Division and be on equal footing with the responsible peers in sales.
Ideally, you will be active directly or primarily at the headquarters in Bronschhofen (CH) and thus closely connected to the aforementioned interfaces.

Exciting tasks await you

  • Sales Operating Model: Participate in the setup, documentation, and continuous development of the sales approach (e.g., Market Squads) including roles, governance, meetings, KPIs, and interfaces
  • Sales Process Excellence: Definition and optimization of the end-to-end sales process from Lead to Opportunity and Quote to Forecast, Order, and Follow-up
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Establishment of binding standards for pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, conversion rates, deal velocity, and revenue planning
  • CRM & Data Excellence: Further development of CRM, data quality, mandatory field logic, opportunity structures, and meaningful reporting and Power BI dashboards, using and integrating AI tools
  • KPI-based Sales Control: Development of a transparent key performance indicator system and execution of regular pipeline, forecast, and business reviews
  • Deal Desk & Commercial Governance: Setup and management of a structured deal desk process for pricing, margin approvals, customization projects, as well as legal and engineering reviews
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Ensuring efficient workflows and clear decision-making paths between Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you convince with an equivalent combination of professional experience and further vocational training
  • Several years of operational sales experience, e.g., in Key Account Management, Regional and Channel Sales, or comparable functions; complementary experience in Sales or Commercial Operations or in sales-related control functions is an advantage
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems, common AI tools, pipeline management, forecasting, KPI steering, and sales reporting
  • Experience in coordinating cross-departmental initiatives as well as high competence in structured implementation control
  • Strong communication skills in dealing with Sales, Product Management, Technical Support, Finance, and Management
  • Confident demeanor, high commitment, and the ability to implement standards without direct line management
  • Very good German and English skills

What we offer you

  • Thorough onboarding into a motivated team with a pleasant working atmosphere and an open communication culture
  • Significant scope for action in an innovative medium-sized company with technical diversity
  • Flexible working time models, including mobile and hybrid working
  • A family-friendly corporate culture
  • Personal and professional development and training opportunities
  • Free choice of location with open desk policy
  • Very good public transport connections, a canteen and a daycare center on site, as well as free parking directly on the company premises
