Job description
About VIA HealthTech
VIA transforms a therapy session into a complete session protocol and session protocols into full psychological reports. Work that previously cost therapists several hours per week.
We are the market-leading AI assistant for psychotherapists. Over 4,000 psychotherapists in the DACH region use VIA, and we process hundreds of thousands of sessions per month. We are ISO 27001:2022 certified and have a BSI-C5 attestation.
We are a multidisciplinary team in Berlin-Mitte. Being the market leader in Germany is just the starting point. Switzerland is our next market, and you will help build it.
The Role
You are our first person in the Swiss market. You will build the pipeline from scratch, develop the playbook, and execute it yourself.
In Germany, our funnel primarily works through webinars: therapists sign up, test VIA for 14 days, and book themselves. You will find out what works from this in Switzerland and what needs to be done differently: qualification by phone, cold calling, other outbound and inbound channels, associations, continuing education institutes, larger organizations as a separate channel. You will test, measure, and scale where the leverage is greatest.
You will work closely with Marketing on target groups, campaigns, and messages for the Swiss market, and provide direct feedback on what is truly resonating in conversations.
The role is intended to be senior. If you are mid-level but exceptionally fast and hungry, apply anyway.
Your Responsibilities
- Open the market. You will identify the most important target groups in Switzerland: self-employed psychological psychotherapists, psychiatrists, organizations for psychological psychotherapy, outpatient clinics, and hospitals. You will prioritize where we win first.
- Convert leads into customers. Qualification calls, webinars, demos, follow-up during the trial period, closing. You will be the central point of contact for Swiss customers.
- Develop new channels. Professional associations like FSP, ASP, and SBAP, continuing education institutes, professional events, and congresses. Initial contact by phone, email, and LinkedIn, where it is worthwhile.
- Build a playbook while you sell. What converts, what objections truly arise in Switzerland (e.g., regarding data protection and data storage), what sequence works.
- Be accountable for numbers. Your KPIs along the funnel, together with our Commercial Engine Lead, who builds tracking and infrastructure.
- Sales enablement materials. You will adapt what works best for selling and marketing in Switzerland, from language to pricing representation in CHF.
- Provide product feedback. You will discuss what Swiss customers need and why deals fail directly with the product team.
Your Profile
Must-have
- Proven track record in B2B sales in Switzerland, ideally SaaS or Digital Health, verifiable with numbers.
- True hunter mentality. You have already actively made initial contacts by phone and have no problem with it. If 40 conversations a day scare you, this is the wrong role.
- Knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system or the ability to learn very quickly: basic insurance, referral model, role of cantons and associations.
- Credibility with therapists. Therapists primarily trust other therapists. Either you bring this background, or you learn so quickly and so deeply that it is not noticeable in conversation.
- Systems thinking. You build reproducible processes instead of one-off cases, with the goal that your approach works even without you.
- Hunger and entrepreneurial ambition. You want to build a new market, not just work off a quota.
- Strong communication skills with a closing focus. Empathetic and on an equal footing, because therapists immediately notice if someone is selling instead of understanding.
- Independent, structured, and data-driven way of working, including remotely and without a local team, as well as confident use of CRM systems.
- Negotiation-level German (C2), including Swiss German, and good English.
- Availability in the early evening. Our target group is often only reachable after their last session; appointments between 5 PM and 7 PM are part of the job. In return, you can organize your day freely.
Advantageous
- French and/or Italian to address other regions later on.
- An existing network in the Swiss psychotherapy or psychiatry scene.
- Experience with funnels where marketing and sales interlock: performance marketing, webinars, trials, self-service.
- Recognition as a psychotherapist, psychological education, or several years of experience in healthcare.
- Sales experience with practices, healthcare professions, or hospitals in Switzerland.
- Hands-on experience with sales automation, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or outbound tooling.
- Experience in market entry or building sales from 0 to 1.
This role is not for you if
- You are looking for a team to make phone calls for you.
- You expect a ready-made pipeline or an existing country team. You will build both.
- You lack both hunger and special ambition. We are an ambitious team and hire accordingly.
What We Offer
- A market you will shape. You are the first person from VIA in Switzerland. What you build will be the foundation of our Swiss business.
- A team that overperforms. DACH market leader for AI assistance in psychotherapy in two years, bootstrapped. Our plans from here are significantly larger, and we are hiring people who want to help shape this.
- High autonomy and profit sharing. Competence and execution count with us. We do not put obstacles in your way, and you earn from what you build.
- Attractive package. Competitive fixed salary in CHF plus uncapped commission, plus company participation.
- Direct line. You work daily with the founders and the multidisciplinary team; decisions are made in hours, not weeks.
- Meaningful work. Every practice you win means several hours per week that can benefit patients again.
- Work flexibly. Remote from Switzerland, flexible scheduling, modern equipment, and regular team days at our office in Berlin-Mitte.
We are not looking for a classic salesperson, but a doer who will make VIA the first choice in Switzerland with hunger and a hands-on mentality.
