Job description

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-energy team and contribute to the success of the business. The fundamental purpose of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) (known internally as a Lead, Deal & Account Manager (LDAM) ) is to generate and qualify new business leads, while also acting as a trusted point of contact for assigned accounts. The LDAM is responsible for identifying, developing, and qualifying leads for the sales team and managing a portfolio of existing clients. What You Will Do: * Prospect and identify new business opportunities through outbound calling, email campaigns, and other marketing initiatives. * Qualify leads based on established criteria, ensuring they align with Cognia's target market. * Manage and nurture existing client accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. * Conduct needs assessments and provide product/service recommendations to both potential and existing clients. * Collaborate with the sales team to transition qualified leads and manage the sales pipeline. * Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system (HubSpot). * Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and sales targets. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and Cognia's products/services. * Work closely with marketing to develop and implement effective sales strategies. * Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals. Skills & Experience You Will Need: * Proven track record of success in sales development or a related field. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Strong prospecting and lead generation skills. * Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot preferred). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed. * Experience in the legal industry is a plus. * Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
