Regional Chef Trainer – Tanzania We are looking for an experienced and passionate Regional Chef Trainer to elevate culinary standards across our East Africa lodges. This role is responsible for: -Training and mentoring chefs across multiple properties -Enhancing menus, food presentation, and guest dining experiences -Implementing kitchen standards, cost controls, and waste management practices -Developing innovative food concepts and special dietary offerings -Driving skills development, chef engagement, and team performance through effective training programs -Collaborating with lodge managers to ensure seamless integration of culinary initiatives into daily operations -Maintaining high levels of quality, consistency, and presentation in all culinary aspects -Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and continuous learning -Developing and maintaining relationships with local suppliers, farmers, and food producers to source fresh, sustainable ingredients -Providing expert guidance on menu engineering, pricing strategies, and inventory management to optimize revenue and profitability -Supporting the development of new culinary products, services, and experiences that drive guest satisfaction and loyalty -Maintaining accurate records of training sessions, chef performance evaluations, and kitchen operations data -Participating in cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive business growth and profitability -Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in all culinary aspects
