NovoServe delivers hosted dedicated servers from multiple data centers in the Netherlands. We are a fast-growing company with an informal atmosphere and international ambitions. We invest heavily in automation to scale quickly and optimally serve our customers. To enable our rapid growth, we develop our own systems for IaaS services. We manage an international network supporting over 7,000 physical servers, providing 19 Tbps of external connectivity and featuring dozens of peering partners. Our network infrastructure is distributed across 8 data centers on two continents, ensuring high availability, resilience, and global reach.

Core of the Function

As a Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for the entire procurement process for our servers and network equipment: from needs assessment to contract management. You will work at an international level for our data centers in the Netherlands, the United States, and Denmark.

You will maintain and strengthen sustainable relationships with our key suppliers and stay informed about new, emerging players.

You will take the lead in supplier selection and the contracting process. In doing so, you will not only ensure the best commercial terms but also guarantee that all agreements comply with current laws and regulations and our long-term strategy.

In addition to purchasing, you are the driving force behind our contract management. You manage the contract register, allowing us to decide in a timely manner to renew or switch to another supplier.

You won't do this alone; you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement perfectly aligns with business objectives. Together with Portfolio Management, you will identify market and price developments and risks, and take appropriate measures. Additionally, together with internal experts, you will organize periodic supplier evaluations, for example, in the areas of information security, risk management, and commercial performance.

This is where you recognize yourself:

You are a Procurement Specialist with experience in both technology (hardware) and commerce. You have demonstrable experience with procurement processes, preferably in the area of network and data center equipment. With your strong communication skills, you can effectively negotiate with suppliers and collaborate with colleagues within the organization.

You possess at least a Bachelor's (hbo) work and thinking level, preferably supplemented with several years of relevant work experience in a similar role.

You have knowledge and experience in supplier management and the procurement of network and data center equipment.

You have current knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Experience with ISO 27001 and related aspects of information security in the procurement process is a plus.

You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
