Job description

This hybrid role is based in Vancouver, with two days a week in the office and the rest remote. Traction Complete is looking for a People & Culture Generalist/Executive Assistant to join our growing team. In this hybrid role, you act as a true partner to the CEO and Leadership Team. You’ll be their point person, helping them to prioritize and manage their workload. You’ll have a first hand look into all areas of the business. In addition, as the People Experience Generalist, you are the front line for all employee inquiries, the champion of our culture, and the support system for all things people. What You’ll Do: Executive Assistant: * Proactively manage the CEO’s calendar and scheduling, ensuring optimal time management and prioritization. * Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, presentations, and follow-up actions. * Manage travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and creating detailed itineraries. * Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism. * Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents. * Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO. * Manage expenses and reconcile financial reports. * Provide administrative support to the Leadership Team as needed. People & Culture: * Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. * Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and other people-related matters. * Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems. * Support the performance management process, including tracking deadlines and assisting with performance reviews. * Assist with the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events. * Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. * Coordinate employee training and development programs. * Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations. What You’ll Bring: * 3+ years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role. * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Experience with HR systems is a plus. * Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * A positive and proactive attitude. * Experience in a technology company or high-growth environment is a plus.
