Nursery Teacher Vacancy – Brent

ECM Recruitment is currently recruiting for a qualified Nursery Teacher to join a Jewish Orthodox Primary School in Brent. This is a boys school. It is a small one form entry primary school. The school serves the Jewish communities of North West London and beyond, providing a warm, nurturing, and values-driven environment for its pupils.

Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (2023), the school offers a comprehensive dual curriculum combining Jewish Studies (Kodesh) with the full National Curriculum (Chol). With smaller-than-average class sizes, the school provides high-quality education that fosters a love of Torah learning, religious observance, moral integrity, and academic excellence, while encouraging pupils to engage positively with the wider world.

The school is housed in a converted former synagogue, offering a unique and characterful setting that reflects its rich heritage and strong community ethos.

This vacancy has arisen due to the current Nursery Teacher going on maternity leave. The role is to begin as soon as possible and for the remainder of the academic year.

Role Details

Start date: Immediate / as soon as possible

Hours: 8:20am – 3:45pm (Children finish at 3.30pm)

PPA time: During the 1.5-hour daily Kodesh session (taught by a Kodesh teacher)

Class size: 25 boys

Support: Two excellent Nursery Assistants

Requirements: Qualified teacher with nursery or early years experience (must have QTS)

Parking: No on-site parking; however, free on-street parking is usually available within reasonable walking distance of the school

The successful candidate will be caring, professional, and passionate about Early Years education, able to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports every child’s academic, social, and spiritual development.

Pay: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience.
