To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Manager (m/f/d) with strong negotiation skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ambition to sustainably improve procurement results.

Your Responsibilities

• You independently conduct demanding price and condition negotiations with national and international suppliers.

• You develop customized negotiation strategies based on sound cost analyses, market benchmarks, and supplier evaluations.

• You realize sustainable savings through the optimization of prices, discounts, payment terms, contract durations, and other commercial conditions.

• You systematically prepare negotiations, define target conditions, negotiation margins, and alternative scenarios, and consistently implement them.

• You question existing supplier relationships and procurement structures and identify additional commercial optimization potentials.

• You document and validate achieved savings and ensure that agreed-upon results are effectively implemented for the client.

• You act as a competent sparring partner for procurement managers, category managers, and managing directors.

• You manage supplier processes, tenders, and commercial renegotiations from preparation to successful conclusion.

Your Profile

• You hold a completed university degree, for example, in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, or possess equivalent practical qualifications.

• You have several years of experience in strategic procurement within an industrial company.

• Ideally, you already have experience in procurement consulting.

• You have demonstrable success in conducting complex price and condition negotiations and in realizing substantial cost savings.

• You master professional negotiation techniques and know how to analyze different interests, exhaust negotiation margins, and achieve viable agreements.

• You have a strong understanding of cost structures, Total Cost of Ownership, market prices, and commercial contract terms.

• You convince with assertiveness, strategic skill, analytical strength, and a confident demeanor at all hierarchical levels.

• You are results-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and are capable of acting convincingly and professionally even in demanding negotiation situations.

• You have very good German and English skills and are willing to travel for client appointments and supplier negotiations.
