To support our further growth, we are looking for you as Manager M&A & Development Partnerships (m/w/d) – Energy Storage.

In this role, you will work on strategic partnerships, project acquisitions, and transactions in the most dynamic part of the energy transition. You identify new opportunities, accompany complex M&A processes, and shape the expansion of our battery storage portfolio actively. You will work closely with decision-makers, investors, project developers, and internal departments – with direct impact on the growth of our company.

Your tasks

• Identification, analysis, and evaluation of acquisition opportunities as well as co-development partnerships in the area of large-scale battery storage
• Steering and accompaniment of M&A and transaction processes – from initial contact to signing and closing
• Conducting market, competition, and economic analyses to support strategic investment decisions
• Preparation and further development of financial models, business cases, and decision-making documents for management and investors
• Participation in contract negotiations with project developers, investors, owners, and strategic partners
• Coordination of internal stakeholders as well as external advisors and law firms, particularly in the context of due diligence processes
• Tight collaboration with the Finance, Legal, Development, Delivery, and Operations departments to comprehensively evaluate projects and participations
• BUILDING and maintaining a relevant network in the area of Energy Storage, Infrastructure, and Renewables

Your profile

• Degree in economics, business engineering, energy economics, finance, law or comparable field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in M&A, corporate development, investment management, infrastructure transactions, or energy investments
• Experience in structuring and evaluating transactions as well as a good understanding of participation and contract structures
• Safe handling of financial modeling and economic analyses
• Ideal candidate has experience in the Energy-, Infrastructure- or Renewables-field
• Outstanding analytical skills, structured, and self-responsible working style
• Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, and confident appearance towards external partners
• Fluent German language skills as well as very good English language skills
