Sales Engineer for Semiconductor and Thin Film Metrology

Location: Łódź

Your responsibilities

• Building long-term relationships with current and newly acquired clients – remotely and during sales meetings;
• Building a database of potential clients;
• Selecting equipment (with the support of the team and manufacturers) tailored to the client's needs;
• Sales of systems and post-sales contact;
• Development of the product group;
• Participation in organizing industry events; conferences, workshops, and symposia;
• Learning about and promoting the rest of the company's product offering.

Our requirements

• Higher technical education; preferably in the field of physics, electronics, microelectronics, materials engineering, nanotechnology, optoelectronics, photonics, or related fields.
• Basic or advanced knowledge of semiconductor physics, thin films, microelectronics, photovoltaics, or materials engineering;
• Familiarity with basic semiconductor material parameters such as resistivity, carrier concentration and mobility, conductivity type, carrier lifetime, and doping profile;
• Understanding of basic thin film characterization methods, including measurements of thickness, refractive index, sheet resistance, uniformity, and optical properties;
• Knowledge of thin film deposition techniques, particularly ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition) and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), as well as their applications in the areas of semiconductors, microelectronics, photovoltaics, and materials engineering;
• Ability to analyze client needs and prepare solutions tailored to their research applications;
• Fluency in conducting technical presentations, sales meetings, and client discussions;
• Good work organization;
• Autonomy, responsibility, and a goal-oriented mindset;
• Very good command of English enabling contact with foreign manufacturers;
• Participation in technical training and analysis of product documentation;
• Willingness to travel for business within Poland;
• Relationship-building skills;
• Good teamwork;
• Willingness to expand knowledge.

We are looking for a person who combines technical knowledge with sales skills, who will be responsible for developing sales of measuring equipment for research in semiconductors, thin films, photovoltaic materials, and micro- and nanoelectronic structures and thin-film technologies. The ideal candidate should have a technical education, preferably in the field of physics, electronics, microelectronics, materials engineering, nanotechnology, optoelectronics, photonics, or related fields.
