Costs Engineer for Fleet Utilage

Main responsibilities:

Monitoring budgets for maintenance and repair activities and forecasting future costs based on the state and usage of equipment.

Following preventive maintenance programs and related costs.

Tracking, analyzing, and reporting expenses related to maintenance and repair, comparing them to the budget to identify deviations.

Implementing and supervising cost reduction strategies, such as preventive maintenance, optimized spare parts management.

Prioritizing cost reports, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance and operational performance, and communicating conclusions to stakeholders.

Coordinating the periodic inventory process for spare parts.

Periodically reviewing contracts with suppliers, such as repair and maintenance service providers.

Collaborating with the technical department, financial department, procurement department, and other teams to ensure efficient and continuous process improvement for cost control.

Implementing methods to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cost control processes for maintenance and repair.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management, using fleet management software.

Data analysis skills, with an understanding of cost management principles.

Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or economic field.

Advanced Excel knowledge.

Interdepartmental communication and relationship skills.

Ability to work with contractual documentation and commercial terms.
