Head Chef (Italian restaurant) - Casa METT Sitges

We are looking for a visionary and experienced Head Chef with a strong background in Italian cuisine for the opening of Casa METT Sitges, an innovative restaurant concept that combines traditional Mediterranean flavors with modern twists and presentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, developing menus, managing inventory, controlling costs, ensuring high-quality food and service standards, and maintaining a positive work environment. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing new menu concepts and specials • Leading and mentoring the kitchen team to achieve exceptional results • Maintaining high levels of quality control and presentation in all dishes served • Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs • Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery • Participating in marketing initiatives and events to promote the restaurant • Developing and implementing strategies for menu engineering, pricing, and promotions. The ideal candidate will have: • A degree in Culinary Arts or related field • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in an Italian restaurant • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and its regional variations • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances • Passion for innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
