About our client Our client has been crowned the most innovative web design agency in the Western Cape. They are a small team of 3 designers and the owner. Our client has a strong emphasis on team culture and is now looking for a general manager to take over the running of the daily operation of the business from the owner. Duties & Responsibilities A. Technical & Creative Project Management: Website, corporate identity, and photography projects. Managing promotional gifts and apparel shop. Proactively manage and prioritize projects to ensure timely and quality delivery. Coordinate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Ensure all projects are completed to the highest standard. B. Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Manage cash flow and ensure the business remains financially stable. C. Human Resources: Manage the recruitment, training, and development of the team. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture. D. Marketing & Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the business. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. E. Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, including administrative tasks, logistics, and supply chain management. Ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently. F. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and success. Identify and mitigate risks to the business. G. Reporting: Provide regular reports to the owner and stakeholders on the performance of the business. Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and informative. H. Miscellaneous: Perform other duties as required by the owner or as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
