General Manager & Country Head - Singapore

About the Role We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven and entrepreneurial General Manager & Country Head to lead our Singapore operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the effective management of our local team. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for EFICYENT in Singapore, aligned with the company's global goals. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, money transfer operators, payment aggregators, and businesses. • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture within the local team, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and retention. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative payout solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in Singapore, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements. • Develop and manage budgets for local operations, ensuring financial sustainability and growth. • Represent EFICYENT in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company's brand and thought leadership. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. • At least 8 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in the fintech or financial services sector. • Proven track record of driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing teams. • Strong understanding of the Singaporean market, including regulatory requirements and industry trends. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
