The Role – Your Passion

Your Tasks as Station Manager at roadsurfer

• Location Development: Together with the central departments and your team, you will independently build up our location and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

• Process Optimization: You will support the implementation and adaptation of existing standards and actively contribute your own ideas for improvement, e.g., in the coordination of vehicle handovers and returns.

• International Cooperation: You will be in regular contact with roadsurfer teams in other countries and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

• Team Leadership: As a team leader, you will foster your team through structured onboarding, targeted task planning, and regular feedback. Together, you will ensure the high quality of our services.

• Independent Recruiting: You will be responsible for building your team and finding the right talents who share your enthusiasm for roadsurfer.

• Fleet Management: You will keep an overview of our vehicle fleet at the location, ensure its impeccable condition, and coordinate closely with local service partners.

• Customer Consulting: As an expert on our products – myroadsurfer, abo, spots, and rent – you will advise customers and send them off on their European adventures as happy roadsurfers.

What You Need to Surf with Us

• Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in a relevant field, or a comparable qualification

• At least 1-2 years of professional experience, ideally in car rental, tourism, or related fields; we also welcome career changers.

• Initial experience in team leadership is an advantage – what's most important to us is empathy and a supportive leadership style.

• A strong service and customer orientation, as well as a joy for open and friendly communication

• Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for a varied role in which you also act pragmatically and solution-oriented

• Very good German and English skills

• Driver's license class B

Your Salary

We ❤️ Transparency. The salary band for this position is between EUR 37,000 and EUR 43,000 gross annually. We are currently introducing salary bands in our job descriptions to ensure that all employees are treated fairly. Once we get to know each other better in the application process and can assess your skills and experience more precisely, we will find out together which level within the salary band suits you best. Your salary will be reviewed at least once a year in an annual feedback discussion.
