Founders Associate – Internship

Introduction

Interested in AI and eager to learn directly alongside the founders? STARTPLATZ AI Academy makes AI practically usable: We train individuals and companies in Cologne in the practical use of AI tools through hands-on training, workshops, and coaching. As a Founders Associate, you will be the assistant to the management – close, involved, with real responsibility from day one.

What you will do with us

Assistance to Management: You will support the management in daily business and act as their extended arm on strategic and operational matters.

Strategic Support & Business Analytics: You will conduct market and competitor analyses and derive concrete recommendations for action from them.

Go-to-Market Strategy: You will contribute to the development and implementation of new market entry and sales concepts.

Management Reporting: You will prepare decision proposals, reports, and presentations for the team and partners.

Direct Mentoring & Shadowing: You will work closely with the management, accompany them in their daily work, and thus get to know all areas of the company from the inside.

Startup Insight: You will experience firsthand how a startup functions and grows – from idea to implementation.

What you bring with you

Studies or Orientation: You are studying business administration or a similar field, or are looking for an orientation internship.

Startup DNA: You live and breathe entrepreneurship and want to gain real startup experience.

Analytical Thinking: You love to understand complex relationships and draw strategic conclusions from them.

Independent Work Style: You maintain an overview even with multiple parallel projects.

Strong Communication Skills: Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.

Interest in AI and Startups: You are interested in AI and the startup world and want to get to know the industry from the inside.

Initial Experience: Ideally, you have already gained some initial experience in a startup, consulting firm, or in a strategic environment.
