Founders Associate Internship (m/f/d)

Fancy AI and eager to learn directly alongside the founders? The STARTPLATZ AI Academy makes AI practically usable: We train individuals and companies in Cologne with practical training, workshops, and coaching on how to use AI tools. As a Founders Associate, you will be an assistant to the management – up close, in the thick of it, with real responsibility from day one.

Responsibilities

• Assistance to Management: You will support the management in day-to-day operations and act as their extended arm on strategic and operational matters.
• Strategic Support & Business Analytics: You will conduct market and competitor analyses and derive concrete recommendations for action from them.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: You will contribute to the development and implementation of new market entry and sales concepts.
• Management Reporting: You will prepare decision proposals, reports, and presentations for the team and partners.
• Direct Mentoring & Shadowing: You will work closely with the management, accompany them in their daily work, and thus get to know all areas of the company from the inside.
• Startup Insight: You will get a firsthand look at how a startup functions and grows – from the idea to the implementation.

Qualifications

• Studies or Orientation: You are studying business administration or a related field, or you are looking for an orientation internship.
• Startup DNA: You live and breathe entrepreneurship and want to gain real startup experience.
• Analytical Thinking: You love understanding complex contexts and drawing strategic conclusions from them.
• Independent Work Style: You can maintain an overview even with multiple parallel projects.
• Strong Communication Skills: Very good German language skills in speaking and writing.
• Interest in AI and Startups: You are interested in AI and the startup world and want to get to know the industry from the inside.
• Initial Experience: Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in a startup, consultancy, or strategic environment.
