Fleet Acquisition Supervisor

Job description

At PartRunner, we connect companies that move large-volume merchandise with the transportation capacity that makes it possible. Our network integrates SMEs fleets and independent carriers at various points in Mexico, with units ranging from light vehicles to heavy cargo.

Today, the challenge is to build installed capacity in the right markets, with a team that can replicate the method in several locations simultaneously.

That's why we are looking for a Fleet Acquisition Supervisor to build the transportation capacity for one of our highest-volume accounts: a nationwide e-commerce operation with high service standards and sustained growth.

You will lead a team of regional negotiators, close the most significant accounts, and build capacity before demand requires it.

The Challenge

This is not a vendor management role or a remote fleet administration role. It is a commercial role with responsibility for the capacity of the entire network.

On the other hand, there is an account that does not wait. When demand rises, capacity must be available. Your job is to ensure the team builds it in advance, not with urgency, and that what works in one location becomes a replicable method in others.

What You Will Do

1. Leadership and Development of the Commercial Team

Supervise, coordinate, and develop the team of regional negotiators.

Assign territories, goals, and priorities according to the capacity deficit in each market.

Conduct weekly pipeline review sessions: progress by stage, prospecting quality, and closing risks.

Identify performance gaps and implement development plans with observable objectives.

Act as the first escalation level for complex negotiations or non-standard conditions.

2. Coverage Strategy and Network Growth

Translate the account's projected demand into concrete acquisition objectives: how many units, of what type, in which city, and by when.

Anticipate seasonal peaks and campaigns, ensuring available capacity before it is needed.

Prioritize locations and fleet segments based on actual capacity deficit, not ease of closing.

Design and standardize the prospecting method so it can be replicated by any team member.

Open new acquisition channels and measure their performance against existing ones.

3. Direct Commercial Execution

Personally manage negotiations with high-volume fleets and strategic counterparts.

Maintain individual quotas in accounts of high impact to the business.

Accompany negotiators in critical closings and in the field when the size of the operation warrants it.

4. Network Economics

Negotiate and maintain conditions that balance competitiveness for the carrier and profitability for PartRunner.

Monitor the acquisition cost per active unit and the time between closing and the first trip.

Identify which locations are overpaying for capacity and propose adjustments.

5. Analytical and Digital Focus

Monitor acquisition, activation, and retention indicators by location, unit type, and channel.

Detect carrier churn patterns before they impact available capacity.

Identify manual tasks in the affiliation process and translate them into actionable requirements for product and systems.

Ensure full team CRM recording discipline: without data, the stage does not exist.

6. Reporting and Continuous Improvement

Generate and present weekly and monthly reports by market with key KPIs: affiliated units · activation % · time to first trip · acquisition cost · 90-day retention %.

Report on capacity status against the account's service commitments, with early alerts when a market is short.

Present findings and initiatives to management clearly and data-driven.

Conduct post-mortem analyses of locations that did not meet objectives and propose concrete corrections.

What We Need From You

Must Have

3+ years of experience in acquisition, sales, or supplier development.

3+ years in transportation, logistics, package delivery, or digital marketplaces.

1+ year leading commercial teams, with responsibility for the team's goal and not just your own.

Experience negotiating with high-volume fleets or carriers.

CRM management and pipeline management discipline, both personal and team.

Intermediate-advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and experience preparing executive reports.

Reside in Guadalajara or the metropolitan area.

Availability for occasional travel to team locations.

Nice to Have

Experience opening new locations or markets from scratch.

Previous experience in startups or high-growth environments.

Experience in digital freight prospecting.

Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio).

Key Competencies

Make quick decisions with judgment and data.

High level of follow-through and closing: you don't leave loose ends, neither yours nor the team's.

Self-management: remotely and without in-person supervision, you maintain your pace and your team's.

Curiosity about technology and AI, and you use them to do more with less.

Our Value Proposition

Competitive base salary + performance bonus scheme + legal and superior benefits + 100% remote scheme.
