ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Momentum Financial Advisor, your purpose is to provide new and existing clients with professional, relevant financial advice, planning and solutions suited to their individual needs and goals.

You will build and maintain long-term client relationships, identify new business opportunities and provide clients with trusted advice across their financial journey while growing your own successful advisory practice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Conduct comprehensive fact-finding and financial needs analyses.
• Provide sound, personalised financial planning and advice.
• Develop financial solutions aligned to each client's needs and priorities.
• Present financial solutions professionally and competently.
• Identify opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals and lead generation.
• Develop new business through business and social networks, presentations and creative prospecting opportunities.
• Strengthen existing client relationships and identify additional financial needs.
• Review client portfolios and provide ongoing advice and service.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all advice and client interactions remain compliant and ethical.
• Continuously develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of the financial services industry.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12.
• FAIS Fit and Proper requirements.
• Regulatory Examination completed where applicable.
• Experience in financial advice, client relationship management and financial planning will be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
• Strong sales, networking and business-development abilities.
