Expert in Finance

We are looking for an expert in investments in the US who will accompany Latino beginners to make their first real investment, guiding them step by step from scratch, with a focus on action, clarity and emotional containment.

This role combines an initial phase of content construction together with the pedagogical team and a subsequent phase of bootcamp facilitation, ensuring a practical, accessible and results-oriented learning experience.

Main responsibilities:

• Co-design with the pedagogical team the structure and contents of the bootcamp.
• Participate in work sessions for building the educational material and practical activities.
• Facilitate live classes 100% focused on action (minimum theory, maximum execution).
• Accompany students throughout the process, from account opening to their first real investment.
• Explain clearly and accessibly:

1. How investing in the US works.
2. Opening and configuring accounts with regulated brokers.
3. Funding accounts, selecting ETFs and executing orders.
4. Building simple portfolios and strategies like DCA.

• Resolve operational, technical, and emotional doubts specific to the beginner investor.
• Alert about common errors, risks, and financial scams.
• Participate in instances of feedback and continuous improvement of the bootcamp.

Mastery and ability to explain the following contents:

• US financial market.
• Stocks vs ETFs vs indices.
• Regulated brokers (SEC, FINRA, SIPC).
• Opening accounts with SSN/ITIN.
• Types of orders (market, limit).
• ETFs (S&P 500, bonds, dividends, international).
• Basic portfolio construction.
• Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA).
• Rebalancing.
• Psychology of the beginner investor.
• Prediction of financial scams.

Required profile
Indispensable:

• Education in finance, economics or other professional careers related to finance.
• Real-life experience investing in the US market.
• Having operated personal ETFs and simple portfolios.
• Able to explain complex concepts in simple language.
• Pedagogical, empathetic, and practical approach.

Desirable:

• Previous experience teaching finance or investments to beginners.
• Having accompanied others in their first investments.
• Certifications or complementary studies in finance (not exclusive).
• Knowledge of the Latino immigrant context in the US.
• Experience in online education or bootcamps.

Compensation:

The compensation for this role is by hours, according to the expert's participation.
