Position Description:
Responsible for developing and promoting the technical and commercial specification of Owens Corning solutions in commercial and industrial projects, working hand-in-hand with architecture firms, engineering firms, distributors, and contractors. Their objective is to generate value for the client and drive business growth, ensuring the fulfillment or surpassing of the company's sales and profitability goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop specifications for Owens Corning products in representative projects within their region. The specifications to be prepared will consist of acoustic proposals in the selection and recommendations of lightweight construction wall assemblies according to acoustic and thermal properties, Reverberation Calculation, Acoustic Simulations, Total Envelope R-Value Calculation, Coordinated Energy Simulations, Calculation of Processes for energy savings, condensation, and fire protection systems.
- Business development must be driven through key decision-makers, such as architecture firms, real estate developers, and consultants. It also requires a thorough knowledge of the most representative projects in the region, with constant travel to key cities to defend specifications, train installers, and ensure the sale of our solutions.
- This includes the specification and sale of thermal, acoustic, and passive fire protection solutions in projects such as hotels, apartments, office towers, hospitals, schools, shopping malls, airports, cinemas, and cooling systems. The position requires a hybrid profile with commercial skills, key account management, and technical specification experience to influence decision-makers, protect specifications, and convert projects into sales.
- Project management and pipeline tracking through CRM Dynamics, virtual and in-person technical training, development of new specification tools, and active participation with construction chambers and industry associations; critical activities to expand market coverage, influence decision-makers, protect specifications, and sustain business growth.
Profile:
- Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering. Must possess a Professional Title and/or License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project specification within the commercial construction market, ideally in developments such as hotels, resorts, hospitals, schools, apartment towers, and offices. Having performed technical sales or account management functions is highly desirable.
Required and Indispensable Knowledge/Experience:
- Availability for Travel (3 trips per month, 3 to 4 days each).
- Knowledge of the Northern Zone (Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Sonora, Durango, SLP, Zacatecas, BC, BCS, Sinaloa).
- Knowledge of the Construction Market (Commercial, Residential, Industrial Warehouses).
- Direct contact with Construction Companies, Developers, Architecture Firms.
- Knowledge of Mathematics and Geometry.
- Knowledge of Construction Materials.
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints (AUTOCAD).
- Client Prospecting.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Insulation Materials
- Intermediate English
- Knowledge of CRM Dynamics.
- Experience in training different audiences (decision-makers and contractors).
