Puratos Mexico is looking for a:

Applications Specialist / Fats & Oils (Food Grade)

Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities in internal production plants and for clients.
• Transform business opportunities into new products and commercial projects, ensuring their implementation in production lines.
• Detect risks in products and processes, promoting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the performance of existing solutions.
• Monitor after-sales service through performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a solid and collaborative relationship with demonstration technicians and cross-functional teams.
• Organize and deliver technical training sessions for clients and internal teams.
• Participate and/or coordinate seminars, demonstrations, and events in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development departments.
• Provide technical support and resolve on-site application problems, supporting clients in their production processes in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities to optimize costs in client processes through the use of Puratos' innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and confidentiality standards established by Puratos and its clients.
• Provide technical advice to clients on the functional characteristics of products, their application, and benefits within the development and production process.

Requirements:

• Food Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Food Chemistry, or a related degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the industrial baking industry as an Application Specialist, R&D Engineer, Industrial Technical Support Supervisor, technical trainer, or similar positions.
• Solid knowledge of ingredient functionality, additives, and basic food chemistry.
• Intermediate or advanced English with conversational communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of industrial processes, production equipment, and finished products in the baking sector.
• Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Customer orientation and a strong focus on business development.
