Construction Broker

This is a role for the Construction business unit in South Africa – that is involved in client servicing, placement broking, post loss risk improvements & supporting the claims team by understanding the circumstances of loss incidents, determining policy response, and providing complex claims advice. You should develop and maintain relationships with the regional construction market to enhance our market understanding and placement capabilities. You may also be encouraged to prepare broking submissions for new business opportunities. You will work closely with the underwriting team to ensure that our products are aligned with the needs of the construction industry, and provide input on product development. Your role will involve identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, and providing expert advice on complex claims matters. You should have a strong understanding of the South African construction market and be able to identify trends and opportunities for growth. You may also be required to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
