Client Partner - Airport

WAISL is undergoing a strategic transformation to become a USD 300M digital-first enterprise, with the GMR Group serving as both owner and anchor client in the aviation sector. The Client Partner will play a pivotal role in deepening this partnership, expanding WAISL’s footprint across aviation and adjacent ecosystems through digital, analytics, and next-gen technologies. This senior leadership role demands a strong commercial mindset, strategic foresight, and the ability to drive growth throughout the entire value chain. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization, from executive management to front-line staff. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for expanding WAISL’s presence in the aviation sector, leveraging digital technologies and analytics to drive growth. • Collaborating closely with GMR Group stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and growth, and developing business cases to support these initiatives. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across both organizations, including executive management, sales teams, and operational staff. • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges associated with the partnership, and developing contingency plans as needed. • Providing strategic guidance and support to WAISL’s business development team, helping them to develop effective go-to-market strategies for new products and services. • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth that align with WAISL’s overall strategy. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the aviation industry or a related sector. • Proven track record of driving growth and innovation through strategic partnerships and collaborations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of an organization. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective strategies to capitalize on them. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
