Your impact as Business Director

As Business Director, you give direction to the further growth of House of Bèta. You build on a strong foundation and develop the label towards the next phase. This means both commercial building and organizational professionalization. You strengthen existing proposals and open new markets, with a clear focus on data, AI, and business IT.

An important part of your focus is the development of a new capability, possibly within the Microsoft suite. The validation of the best solution is part of the challenge, with the goal of expanding and deepening service delivery towards data, analytics, and process optimization.

You are visible in the market, exploring new sectors and strengthening existing proposals. At the same time, you ensure connection, buy-in, and a strong culture within a loyal organization.

Your responsibilities

• Developing and translating the strategy for House of Bèta into concrete market development plans, proposals, and approaches for new markets (energy, government, data/AI);
• P&L responsibility for revenue, margin, costs, and results;
• Commercial development of the label: acquisition, partnerships, customer relationships, new proposals, and shifting from hourly model to project-based service delivery;
• Professionalizing processes, organizational structure, and change capacity;
• Caring for talent development within all layers: traineeships, masterships, and senior professionals;
• Identifying bottlenecks, initiating improvements, and speeding up where necessary;
• Reporting to the board about progress, results, and strategic choices;
• Intensive collaboration with other directors and the core MT of Talent&Pro to leverage synergy benefits between labels, mother organization, and different markets
  

Your place within the organization

You report to Ronald Hensen, Managing Director of Talent&Pro. You form part of the core MT together with him, Eric van Diest, and a few other directors. Within House of Bèta, you lead two Unit Managers who are responsible for operational management of account managers and people managers. Additionally, you work closely with recruitment, marketing, and other business units of Talent&Pro.

Requirements

House of Bèta is a tight, driven club where development is central. As Business Director, you move effortlessly within this culture and know how to bring people along in change and growth. You are commercially strong, think strategically, and act pragmatically.

• HBO or WO work and thinking level;
• At least 7 years of experience in a commercial and/or leadership role within consultancy, detaching, or IT;
• A proven track record in building up or expanding a business or unit;
• Possesses a relevant and active network and knows how to commercially utilize this network;
• Experience with technology and data-driven proposals, where experience with Microsoft solutions is a possible direction;
• Strong strategic ability combined with hands-on execution power;
• Experience with data-driven proposals and developing new services;
• Entrepreneurial attitude, organization-sensitive, and firmly in your shoes;
• Experience with change assignments within a loyal, knowledge-intensive organization;
• Natural leadership and the ability to develop talent and connect teams;
• Good command of Dutch and English.

• A gross annual salary of approximately €140,000 OTE;
