Senior SAP ABAP Developer

As Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you are responsible for developing, optimizing and maintaining custom solutions within the SAP environment. You work closely with functional consultants, business analysts and other developers to translate SAP systems into efficient, reliable and future-proof business solutions. With your in-depth knowledge of ABAP and SAP modules, you contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and system integrations.

• Develop, test and maintain custom applications in SAP ABAP.

• Analyze functional designs and translate them into technical specifications.

• Optimize existing ABAP programs, reports and interfaces.

• Realize integrations between SAP and other business applications.

• Implement user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, IDocs and SmartForms.

• Work together with functional teams to align solution directions.

• Support migrations, upgrades and performance tuning.

• Document developed solutions and monitor development standards.

• At least 5 years of experience as SAP ABAP Developer in a complex business environment.

• In-depth knowledge of ABAP, ABAP Objects, and SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD or HR.

• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA (including CDS Views and OData Services).

• Experience with debugging, performance analysis and code optimization.

• Understanding of functional processes within SAP and collaboration with functional teams.

• Experience with version management and transport management.

• Strong analytical skills and a structured work attitude.

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

• Experience with Fiori/UI5 development or SAP Gateway.

• Knowledge of SAP Workflow, SAP Scripts and Adobe Forms.

• Certification in SAP ABAP Development or S/4HANA Development.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Informatics, Technical Business Administration or a comparable field.
