Senior IT Business Analist

As Sr. IT Business Analist, you are responsible for translating complex business processes and needs into concrete IT solutions. You function as a bridge between the business and the IT organization, ensuring that technological developments optimally align with the strategic goals of the organization. With your analytical ability, communicative strength, and helicopter view, you contribute to successful IT implementations and process improvements.

• Analyzing business processes and translating functional requirements into IT solutions.

• Identifying opportunities for improvement within existing systems and processes.

• Drafting business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.

• Collaborating with development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to realize solutions.

• Supporting test trajectories, acceptance processes, and implementations.

• Maintaining consistency between business goals and IT architecture.

• Coordinating workshops and interviews with users and stakeholders.

• Serving as a sparring partner for management and project leaders during IT change trajectories.

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience as Business Analyst within an IT environment.

• In-depth knowledge of business analysis methodologies (BABOK, UML, BPMN).

• Experience in drafting functional and non-functional requirements.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum work methods and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

• Understanding of IT architectures, data modeling, and process design.

• Strong analytical and communicative skills.

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.

• Certifications such as CBAP, IREB, or Agile Business Analyst.

• Experience within sectors such as financial services, government, or healthcare.

• Knowledge of data analysis, BI solutions, and API integrations.

• Experience with enterprise tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Informatics, or a related field.
