Newgein is a young, lively city with historical accents. A complete city with plenty of space and greenery, excellent facilities and modern homes. Newgein is centrally located and has its own connections to the major highways A27, A2, and A12 and is equipped with efficient public transportation, including a tram connection with neighboring municipalities IJsselstein and Utrecht. In this complete city, the Gemeente Nieuwegein also has a task in sustaining the city.

Task
The Toezicht, Veiligheid en Leefbaarheid (TVL) department contributes to maintaining and enhancing the livability and safety of the city for residents, entrepreneurs, and users. The department has a broad range of products and a large diversity in target groups and work processes. All administrative and penal supervision and enforcement take place here for various policy areas. The department consists of 5 teams: Omgevingstoezicht, Stadstoezicht, Strategie en ondersteuning, Wijkcoördinatoren, and Openbare Orde en Veiligheid. There are eighty employees. As a project leader building, you will be part of the team Omgevingstoezicht, specifically the group Bouw- en woningtoezicht. The team consists of 5 permanent supervisors, including 1 senior, and a flexible shell of 5 FTEs in hired-in staff.

The contractor performs work as a supervisor and, if necessary, enforcer for various large projects within Newgein. This includes housing construction projects, police station, supermarket, transformation (renovation and expansion) of multiple office buildings into homes. In the job description, the specific project with name will be mentioned and what we expect as a result after 1 year.

Workdays
The task will be fulfilled on the following workdays: days to be determined, physical presence required at least 4 days a week at work.

• 1. A completed education in the direction of Building Engineering at MBO level 4;
• 2. At least 5 years of verifiable work experience as a building supervisor for a municipality;
• 4. Completed ABW1 training;

• 5. At least 5 years of verifiable work experience with building permits for a municipality
• 6. Completed course on Environmental Act and VCA;
• 7. Willing to work on location (clearly mention in CV)
• 8. Knowledge of WKB (clearly mention in CV)
• 9. Knowledge of fire prevention (clearly mention in CV)
• 10. Work experience with Rx Mission;
