Freelance Roofer

Are you an experienced freelance roofer looking for a long-term assignment in the Amsterdam region? For a reputable client, we are looking for a craftsman who can work independently on maintenance and renovation work on roofs. You will be working on various projects within residential construction, where quality and craftsmanship are paramount.

As a freelance roofer, you are responsible for carrying out various tasks on flat and pitched roofs. No day is the same, and you will work independently or with colleagues on diverse maintenance projects. Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Performing daily maintenance on roofs of houses and residential complexes;
• Carrying out renovation and changeover work;
• Detecting and fixing roof leaks;
• Applying, replacing, and repairing bitumen, plastic, and tile roofs;
• Replacing gutters, downpipes, and roof penetrations;
• Performing small carpentry work on roof structures;
• Ensuring a safe workplace and a neat completion of the work;
• Maintaining contact with residents and supervisors on site.

For this assignment, we are looking for an independent roofer who delivers quality and is presentable towards residents and clients. In addition, you possess:

• Demonstrable experience as an independent roofer;
• Experience with maintenance, renovation, and repair work;
• A valid VCA certificate or the willingness to obtain one;
• Registration with the Chamber of Commerce;
• Own work van and professional tools;
• Driver's license B;
• An independent, flexible, and customer-oriented attitude.
