• Support of the locomotive driver in preparing and conducting safe train runs
• Performance of activities as a shunting assistant
• Contact person for passengers on board
• Ticket control
• Preparation of documents for trips (car list, brake test)
• Train formation and determination of operational safety in accordance with valid regulations (wagon technical inspection)
• Performance of brake tests
• Counseling and customer service on board
• Responsibility for order and security in the trains

What Network Railway Saxony expects from you:

• Completed training as a conductor (Zf) including brake test authorization and SRK leader training component
• Fitness according to TfV
• Interest and experience in the railway industry
• Flexibility, travel readiness, and willingness to work shifts, nights, and weekends, as well as readiness for overnight stays away from home
• Customer-oriented and polished appearance
• Fluent German language skills, English language skills advantageous
• Readiness for further education
• Pleasure in dealing with people
