Pregnancy Replacement Caregiver
Job description
The place of employment is WETTEREN. That is approximately 15 km from Zottegem.
As a caregiver, you work in the care center Schelderust. You are part of a team of nurses, caregivers, and logistics staff and work under the leadership of the head nurse/team coach nursing, in the department of care.
The goal is to make the residence of our residents as comfortable as possible by providing optimal care and support in daily life.
Main tasks
Caring tasks: the caregiver is responsible for o.a. following basic cares:
- help with dressing and undressing
- caring for nutrition: serving, administering, supporting residents, monitoring correct food intake
- help with personal care: daily toilet, proper use of incontinence materials, additional cares
- making beds
Responsible for:
- a comfortable living and life climate
- stimulating self-reliance of residents
- guiding residents: listening, empathizing, emotional support, etc.
- receiving family members and visitors
Active participation in departmental activities:
- participation in work meetings
- participation in resident discussions
- transferring information with the staff of previous and next shifts
Household tasks:
- caring for order and hygiene in various living spaces
- refilling sanitary materials
- caring for clothing, individual aids, and personal belongings of residents
Reporting, registration, and administration regarding residents:
- marking daily cares and reporting specific problems
- transferring information with the staff of previous and next shifts.

- You possess a diploma that grants access to this position: registered as a caregiver or meets the conditions to be registered as a caregiver by the RISIV (visa)

Who offers you a full-time (38 hours) or part-time (30.4 or 19 hours) replacement contract for the duration of the absence due to pregnancy and maternity leave:
