Job description

Are you a student of nutrition and dietetics and want to complete your education with the official qualification as a dietitian in Switzerland?

For the mandatory one-year supplementary module (internship year) required for this, we are looking for motivated young talents: If you want to learn in a practical way how modern outpatient counseling works and gain valuable experience at the interface of personal patient care and future-oriented digital health, our Graduate Internship is exactly right for you.

For our Oviva team in Switzerland, we are looking for you starting October 2027 as a Dietitian BSc.

Why Oviva?

At Oviva, we pursue a clear mission: We want to make sustainable, personalized, and clinically effective care accessible to everyone.

Our digital programs support people with weight-related conditions. For many, weight loss is a goal, but our approach goes far beyond that: We help improve health, build self-confidence, and increase quality of life.

We have already supported over a million people in Switzerland, Germany, Poland, and Great Britain – and we are just at the beginning. Every conversation, every coaching session, and every line of code brings us closer to a healthier future. Become part of our team and actively shape this future.

Your Area of Responsibility

As a Graduate / Dietitian, you will familiarize yourself step-by-step with the daily work of a professional in an outpatient counseling setting and continuously build your competencies:

  • Outpatient Nutritional Therapy: You will conduct counseling sessions for adults, children, and adolescents – initially closely supervised on-site in our partner practices and digitally, later independently with pre- and post-session discussions (practice utilization approx. 1-4 sessions per half-day).

  • Referral Management & Networking: You will work interprofessionally with doctors and medical practice staff, strengthen relationships, and support the acquisition and development of regional partner practices.

  • Knowledge Transfer: You will design and conduct specialist webinars (e.g., for medical assistants) and give practical presentations at professional events and internal training sessions.

  • Quality & Projects: You will create and revise high-quality counseling materials, regularly participate in internal case discussions, and support regional marketing projects.

  • Office Presence: Every Wednesday, you will be present on-site at our office in Zurich, exchange ideas with other graduates, and deepen your network.

What You Bring With You

  • Education: You are close to completing your Bachelor's degree (Dietitian BSc) in Nutrition and Dietetics at a University of Applied Sciences (e.g., BFH).

  • Work Style: You work independently, are flexible, and highly organized.

  • Enthusiasm: You enjoy personal as well as digital patient support and are open to different specialist and indication areas.

  • Location Flexibility: You work flexibly from home and digitally, but are committed to being on-site at our office in Zurich every Wednesday.

  • Languages: We require very good German skills in speaking and writing; good English skills as well as other languages are a big plus.

Your Benefits at Oviva

  • Structured Career Start: A tailor-made graduate program with targeted onboarding, supervision, and close support on the path to independent counseling.

  • Remuneration & Expenses (Based on 100% workload):

    • Base Salary: CHF 2,525.– per month

    • Fixed Expense Allowances: CHF 225.– monthly expenses, CHF 30.– telecommunication, and CHF 137.50 travel expense supplement for graduates

Our internship typically takes place with an 80% workload.

  • State-of-the-Art Work Tools: A proprietary, innovative app and counseling software that simplifies administrative processes.

  • Team Culture & Networking: A dynamic, interdisciplinary team where knowledge is shared and successes are celebrated together.

  • Meaningful Work: A company culture where patient satisfaction and treatment quality are paramount.
