Your Tasks – Shaping Instead of Managing

• Overall medical, organizational, and strategic responsibility for pediatric orthopedics with a focus on building and further developing operative care.
• Specialized operative treatment of congenital and acquired diseases of the musculoskeletal system in children and adolescents (spine, extremities, neuromuscular diseases).
• Further development of an integrated treatment concept comprising acute care, surgery, and rehabilitation.
• Leadership, development, and expansion of a high-performing interdisciplinary team.
• Close collaboration with neurosurgery, neuropediatrics, pediatric rehabilitation, anesthesiology, intensive care medicine, and radiology.
• Representation of the center internally and externally (referring physicians, professional societies, network partners).
