Job Description Youth Tutor - Hair and Makeup Location: Manukau Full time | Permanent | On-site About the role: As a Youth Tutor, you will deliver engaging, practical training to our Level 2 Youth Guarantee learners while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every ākonga feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged to succeed. Through high-quality teaching, mentoring, and pastoral care, you will support learners to build confidence, develop practical skills, and successfully transition into further education or employment. Key responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality training sessions that meet the needs of our Level 2 Youth Guarantee learners • Develop and maintain strong relationships with learners, colleagues, and stakeholders • Provide individualized support and guidance to learners to help them achieve their goals • Collaborate with other tutors and staff members to develop and implement effective teaching strategies • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
