Year 5/6 Teacher

Contract: Full-time, long-term
Salary: £140 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming Primary School in Runcorn who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5/6 Teacher to join their team. The successful teacher will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire pupils and promote a love of learning across the curriculum - particularly in reading, writing and maths. You'll create a stimulating classroom environment where children feel valued, supported and motivated to succeed.

This role would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT who is passionate about making a difference. The school welcomes teachers who can uphold and promote their strong values and ethos, and who bring creativity, enthusiasm and commitment to every lesson.

• Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching across the Primary phase.

• Plan and assess effectively to ensure progress for all pupils.

• Foster a positive, safe and nurturing classroom environment.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff.

• Promote the school's ethos of respect, care and community.

• Actively contribute to wider school life and enrichment opportunities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Strong classroom practice and a passion for primary education.

• Ability to motivate, inspire and engage learners of all abilities.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Experience in KS1 or KS2, or within a faith-based school setting, would be an advantage, but is not essential.
