The Role:
A brilliant school in Urmston are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 team. The successful candidate will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences and help children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Year 2 teacher in planning and delivering lessons
• Assist children with their learning activities and provide one-on-one or small group support
• Encourage positive behaviour and support the development of social skills
• Help prepare resources and classroom materials
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing
• Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with primary school children, preferably Year 2
• A genuine passion for education and child development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to challenges
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications or training in education/support work (desirable but not essential)
