Yard & Workshop Support

OneStaff New Plymouth is a leading provider of temporary and permanent staffing solutions for a wide range of industrial clients across the region

We’re looking for Yard & Workshop Support for a local heavy-duty manufacturing plant that specialises in fabricating food-grade stainless steel tanks, milk vats, and advanced refrigeration systems

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 2:00pm

This role involves working at heights and providing support across yard and workshop operations Key Responsibilities:

• Climbing ladders to secure strops to milk tanks and enabling safe lifting
• Assisting the yard operator with forklift-related activities
• Performing general yard duties and operational support tasks
• 5S-related tasks, including – general cleaning, workshop sorting and organisation, maintaining a tidy and safe work environment

What we’re looking for:

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable and hardworking
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Working at Heights (Unit Standard) is an advantage

To work with OneStaff, you’ll need:

• Valid ID (Passport OR NZ Birth Certificate plus Driver’s Licence)
• Work or character references
• No Criminal Convictions or pending charges
• Commitment to showing up and getting the job done
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test/pass random drug testing if selected onsite
