Yacht Building Technologist (Above 24 m)

About the Role Sunreef Yachts is looking for a skilled and hands-on Yacht Building Technologist to join our production team at our shipyard in Gdańsk, Poland . This role focuses on translating design intent into optimized production processes for yachts over 24 meters. You’ll work closely with naval architects, engineers, and skilled craftsmen to develop process documentation, resolve production issues, and support the efficient construction of high-performance luxury yachts. Key responsibilities include: • Developing process documentation for yacht construction, including production planning, quality control, and material management; • Collaborating with naval architects, engineers, and skilled craftsmen to resolve production issues and optimize construction processes; • Supporting the efficient construction of high-performance luxury yachts, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards; • Maintaining a high level of technical expertise and staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices; • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality; • Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on teamwork and effective communication. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as naval architecture, engineering, or a related technical discipline; • At least 2 years of experience in yacht construction, production planning, or a related field; • Strong technical skills and knowledge of yacht construction processes and materials; • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers; • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on teamwork and effective communication.
