For this unique location in Kerkrade, right across from the Parkstad Limburg Stadium, we are looking for 3 independent chefs to strengthen our kitchen team. We offer you a professional working environment with a great atmosphere, all tied to our trendy culinary concept.

What do you bring as a chef?

• Your tasks include performing preparatory work such as washing vegetables, slicing and filleting salmon, cutting lamb chops and beef for various dishes, working with a kitchen team of about 10 colleagues under the leadership of the head chef.
• Preparing and cooking dishes, while carrying out interim quality and hygiene checks.
• Preparing and checking dishes for service, after which service staff will place them on the warming trays.
• Planning daily activities, ordering food supplies and other stock replenishments from regular suppliers, and checking delivered goods.
• Supervising assistants, giving directions and instructions.
• Cleaning your own work area, kitchen appliances, and machines before closing, and assisting kitchen helpers with full kitchen cleanup and storage of delivered goods.
• Being a strong team player with a flexible attitude and good communication skills.
• Contributing to quality improvement, menu optimization and development, and writing out recipes and preparation instructions.
• Desired qualifications: MBO level 3 or equivalent education with knowledge and experience in basic cooking techniques.

What’s in it for you?

· A gross monthly salary between €2,500 - €3,000 based on a 38-hour workweek, according to the Dutch Hospitality CAO, with 25 vacation days and 8% holiday pay
· A temporary contract for a minimum of 1 year
