Workshop Team Leader – Material Handling East Tamaki, Auckland

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for mentoring others and keeping things running smoothly? We're on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Team Leader to help grow and guide our talented team of technicians and apprentices.

About your new role:

You'll be the go to person for day-to-day operations in the workshop supporting your team, mentoring our Apprentices, and delivering exceptional service to both our internal and external customers. This is your chance to lead from the front where your technical expertise, teamwork and commitment to safety will shine.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with Material Handling products
  • Organisation skills
  • Solid understanding of electronic/electrical circuits and hydraulics
  • A customer focused mindset and collaborative attitude
  • Experience supervising and motivating Service Technicians and Apprentices ensuring efficiency and productivity targets are met
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards
  • Budget management and profit targets
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of compliance regarding Health & Safety polices
