The role

Reporting into the Leading Hand on your crew and working in a team of 8 workshop technicians, you will enjoy working on brand new equipment in a Pre-Delivery Technician capacity. Your duties will include;-

• Working on a range of tasks preparing new machines to head out to site
• Enjoy working on brand new equipment that's arrives at the workshop fully assembled
• Installing equipment, machinery additions and addons, component changeouts
• You'll also be required to work on site commissioning on an ad hoc basis (not regularly)
• In addition, you may be involved in the rebuild team from time to time

The hours, roster and overtime

• Standard hours are 38-hour weeks (no weekend work required)
• Monday - Thursday 6.00am - 2.30pm
• Friday - 6.00am - 12.00pm
• Overtime is regularly available with 10 hour days often on offer

Your skills and experience

You'll come to the role with a mechanical trade qualification, however what will make you excel in this role is your attitude towards work and the desire to forward your skills in an environment where quality, workmanship and safety is paramount. You'll also have;-

• The ability to connect with a team and work autonomously
• The desire to work in a role that will involve a range of tasks from basic to intermediate
• The drive to secure a long-term permanent role with the company
• The commitment to complete commissioning at site where needed
